Package: pulseaudio Version: 10.0-2 When I boot my Linux PC I see the message "Failed to create secure directory (//.config/pulse) No such file or directory" This message repeats sequentially many times. Why the // in the message? I'm using Kernel 4.9.0-3-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 4.9.30-2 (2017-06-12) i686 GNU/Linux. Process root (#1) is init and not systemd. pulse starts up at boottime since "pulseaudio.desktop" is found in /etc/xdg/autostart/ and X starts at boottime which apparently executes the files in the above autostart directory..
