Source: sssd Version: 1.15.3-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
On upgrade of SSSD to the current version, libldb was also upgraded from 1.1.29-2 to 1.2.2-2. This causes a segmentation fault when trying to start SSD (strace shows segfault shortly after reading a ldap cache file). As a workaround, downgrading to 1.1.29-2 resolves this and sssd works normally. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.14.0-041400rc5-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
