Package: debdelta Version: 0.62 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
I was experimenting with some code I'm writing for using debdeltas incrementally - I may post something in a separate bug if that works. Anyway, during these experiments I set the URLs of the debdelta mirrors in /etc/debdelta/sources.conf to https, but when I later used the (regular) debdelta-upgrade program, it crashed on an assertion error. As I have noticed that debdeltas.debian.net offers https-connections, could you provide support for this in your programs? Thanks for maintaining! -Steven -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.16.0-2-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages debdelta depends on: ii binutils 2.30-21 ii bzip2 1.0.6-8.1 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-8.1 ii libc6 2.27-3 ii python 2.7.15-3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 Versions of packages debdelta recommends: ii bsdiff 4.3-21 ii gnupg2 2.2.7-1 ii gpg-agent [gnupg-agent] 2.2.7-1 ii python-apt 1.6.1 ii python-debian 0.1.32 ii xdelta 1.1.3-9.2 ii xdelta3 3.0.11-dfsg-1+b1 ii xz-utils [lzma] 5.2.2-1.3 Versions of packages debdelta suggests: ii debdelta-doc 0.62 -- no debconf information
