Package: emacs21-el
Version: 21.4a-3
Severity: normal

Some perl files, as the attached one, are not correctly colored by
emacs' perl mode. I'm a noob in perl so I don't know if it's correct
not to consider the first quote in the line
*bs = \"\b";
but if I drop the '\', there are still some errors in syntax
coloration at the end of the file (after line 575), '#' that are not at the
beginning
of the line are not ignored.

I tryed to open this file with vim and kwrite and they seem to work
fine on this file.
