I wrote to you about your patch to path.py in august, but you might have
been too busy to answer, so I'm reminding you: your avoid-distutils.diff
patch makes the testsuite fail.
I pushed the changes to the python-team/modules/path.py repository on
salsa, so it's easier to have a look.
If you "quilt push" so the missing_flake8.patch is at the top then
"pytest test_path.py" is ok.
If you then "quilt push" so your patch is at the top, then "pytest
test_path.py" gives eight failures, which all look the same (and
puzzling : an OSError with errno EEXIST while the shown code says that
should have caught the exception...).
Could you prepare a better patch?
