If upstream is dead then it is a mistake to mark the bug as `upstream'. Instead, we are now upstream. That upstream is dead is a terrible reason to close a bug. * It is marked as `wishlist' This is IMO a mistake. My report describes data corruption resulting in entirely wrong output. * "nothing will ever be done about it" If someone tells me my patch will be considered on its merits, I will write a patch.
