Thanks for your report. I can't reproduce the problem locally, but I have no reason to doubt of what you observed. However I think you are correct saying "somewhere in the stack": I doubt iw(1) is to blame here, as it merely reports the results of the scan. While this means this bug report should probably be against the kernel, and it's probably an upstream bug, I have nothing against tracking the issue here. Paride
