yes, this is due to the binary-only update which happened recently. it
was necessary to build python2.*-mysqldb against libmysqlclient15off.

you can remove python-mysqldb (it is a transitional and documentation
only package), and then upgrade python2.3-mysqldb.

this bug will be automaticly fixed with the next source upload of
python-mysqldb, which will happen in near future, as a new upstream
release will be released soon.
