Reason I wrote "guess" above is that the files contain only one line:

jonas@auryn:~$ cat ~/Maildir/hb/.Drafts/dovecot-uidlist
3 V1571588832 N962 G98f48623d08aac5d75640000078c398f
jonas@auryn:~$ ssh mail.homebase.dk "cat ~/Maildir/.Drafts/dovecot-uidlist"
jo...@mail.homebase.dk's password:
3 V1571588832 N962 G98f48623d08aac5d75640000078c398f

I am feeding you information here in the hope you get enough clues to
solve this puzzle, and secondarily I try understand and maybe even learn
from your deep-tech "ramblings" while you dive into the details. If you
are already convinced that interimap is not causing this and are
throwing proof at me until I am convinced and close this bug, then we'd
better stop now: You likely won't "convince" me because I don't
understand all the moving parts here, but I am willing to leave it as
"hm, strange, moving on"...

Right. I will do that once your desire for examining that mailbox has
been exhausted.

Thanks a lot for your help and patience this far,
