It would be great if decopy had a way to analyze diffs and to report on any changes that need to be made to the debian/copyright file based on that.This would be useful when e.g. importing new upstream releases, making that sure that the debian/copyright file stays up to date.
You can just run decopy again after importing a new upstream and it will update your copyright. Reading diffs would just be faster.
