I've got my preferences set to wrap long lines at 72 characters. This happens in the editor window but when I actually send the mail, it all goes out as one long line.

As I type this email, it wraps in the editor. You can see from the result, though, that it does not wrap when sent.

Perhaps this is the indended behavior, but then why have an option to set where lines wrap.

I think their is a bug, but only if you set compose message in html and have a send option to convert messages to plain text. Try to verify if deselecting html composition at your account settings fixes this.
