Bug#976685: dash -x output seems broken

Hi,

The bug is not specific to -x option, it's just a handy method to see
what's going on.  The same happens without -x, e.g.

bash$ dash -c 'echo /// "///"'
/// //

The bug was discovered by strace test suite.
