I remarked the problem first with this version and I''ve just checked if I was enable to build the older one.
But there are lots of problems related to libxcurser and libxrender. The xord maintainers have dropped the .la files and so libtool fails.I've already reported a bug against gnome-control-center for the same reason and here is the reply of Sebastien Bacher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
That's not a bug from gnome-control-center but from the libs installed which have to be rebuilt to drop their mention of libXcursor.la
So I think you can close this bug and we have to wait until this issue is fixed.
As a temporary fix, I've rebuilt libxcursor and libxrender with .la files also. And this way, I managed to build the kino packages.
