Please consider applying the attached patch. Thanks for your report. You are fully right, I missed removing xutils-dev when the package was moved from xmkmf to autoconf. I wasn't fully aware of using nocheck, but you are right, the removal of netpbm and texlive-latex-extra on nocheck is also possible. I merged you changes in the git repository. Should I upload the package to buster to bring this patch in and fix bootstrap dependency loops or should I delay it until other changes are added? Greetings Roland
