Package: plasma-applet-redshift-control Version: 1.0.18+phabricator~2019080100-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: funat...@posteo.de
Dear Maintainer, when I start a new KDE-session, the session will "hang" for more than 1 minute, before the UI allows me to f.i. start Dolphin or VLC. My assumption is, that KDE has to wait until redshift-applet has given up to find a geolocation provider and thus prevents UI-interaction. It is pretty much the same, when I want to change the settings of the applet when I click on "advanced". In this situation it also takes more than 1 minute, before the window responses. Until it does, I can not do anything in this particular window. I file a separate bug report for this too. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages plasma-applet-redshift-control depends on: ii fonts-font-awesome 5.0.10+really4.7.0~dfsg-4 ii redshift 1.12-4 plasma-applet-redshift-control recommends no packages. plasma-applet-redshift-control suggests no packages.
