resolv.conf left configured after tunnel down due to lack of down script While openvpn provides both: https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn/tree/master/contrib/pull-resolv-conf If you will be updating the current debian update-resolv-conf with client.up / client.down from openwrt, please pay attention, that client.up calls resolvconf with '-p' so it fails on debian. I send patch to remove '-p', possibly the above note will become obsolete.
