 I think you misunderstand how the GPL works.  The GPL is known to be
viral, and licenses compatible with the GPL are indeed compatible with
it because they allow to be covered under the GPL.  The whole work in
the end is covered by the GPL, and thus it is in my understanding
allowed to write it that way.  

 If you want to pursue on that grounds, it would be helpful if you could
find people that support your interpretation, because I don't think my
understanding of the GPL is too off - and you showed in the other bug
report already that you have personal interpretations that don't follow
what's written in the GPL.

 Said that, it doesn't hurt to add that to make it more complete, even
though I don't think there is a real need for it.
