This also means, users who are going to install rsyslog are more likely
the ones who have a specialized setup (like a log collector) where
performance matters more. And in this case imuxsock is indeed the better
choice. And optimizing the package defaults for such a use case would
make sense.
FWIW, the second approach does seem to make sense to me :)
