I don't see anything significant in the logs, no crash / segv. I am attaching a few, I have also added some prints to cinnamon-launcher but nothing stands out for me. In the meantime I had the opportunity to do another `apt upgrade` where there were no Cinnamon packages and during the reboot the problem occurred.
