Package: libmthca Version: 1.0.1-1 Severity: important Justification: fails to build from source
libmthca failed to build on a sparc buildd, duplicated on my sparc pbuilder. All sparc buildds and my pbuilder are v9 or later machines, but are configured to build code that will run on older machines by default. cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -g -Wall -D_GNU_SOURCE -g -Wall -O2 -c src/ah.c -o src_mthca_la-ah.o >/dev/null 2>&1 /bin/sh ./libtool --tag=CC --mode=compile cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -g -Wall -D_GNU_SOURCE -g -Wall -O2 -c -o src_mthca_la-cq.lo `test -f 'src/cq.c' || echo './'`src/cq.c cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -g -Wall -D_GNU_SOURCE -g -Wall -O2 -c src/cq.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/src_mthca_la-cq.o /tmp/cckUazil.s: Assembler messages: /tmp/cckUazil.s:338: Error: Architecture mismatch on "membar". /tmp/cckUazil.s:338: (Requires v9|v9a|v9b; requested architecture is sparclite.) /tmp/cckUazil.s:471: Error: Architecture mismatch on "membar". /tmp/cckUazil.s:471: (Requires v9|v9a|v9b; requested architecture is sparclite.) /tmp/cckUazil.s:570: Error: Architecture mismatch on "membar". /tmp/cckUazil.s:570: (Requires v9|v9a|v9b; requested architecture is sparclite.) /tmp/cckUazil.s:783: Error: Architecture mismatch on "membar". /tmp/cckUazil.s:783: (Requires v9|v9a|v9b; requested architecture is sparclite.) /tmp/cckUazil.s:801: Error: Architecture mismatch on "membar". /tmp/cckUazil.s:801: (Requires v9|v9a|v9b; requested architecture is sparclite.) /tmp/cckUazil.s:1461: Error: Architecture mismatch on "membar". /tmp/cckUazil.s:1461: (Requires v9|v9a|v9b; requested architecture is sparclite.) /tmp/cckUazil.s:1467: Error: Architecture mismatch on "membar". /tmp/cckUazil.s:1467: (Requires v9|v9a|v9b; requested architecture is sparclite.) make[2]: *** [src_mthca_la-cq.lo] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/libmthca-1.0.1' make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/libmthca-1.0.1' make: *** [debian/stamp-makefile-build] Error 2 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
