Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal
Hi, Please remove libisal on the i386 arch. Indeed, it fails to build, because the package is trying to use non-32 bits assembler instructions. Considering what the package does (ie: Erasure coding acceleration) and the fact that there are alternatives (like jerasure) that are doing the exact same thing, I don't see the point spending more time supporting a specific arch. Also, it is very unlikely that someone will want to run such a very CPU intensive code on i386, without SSE registers, anyways. Cheers, Thomas Goirand (zigo)
