I don't think changing the packaging license now is necessary, and it may require a significant amount of extra work - other people have worked on the packaging since you first set its license, which means that changing that license would require a relicensing effort (contact all the previous packagers who made significant changes and ask for permission). Easier to just leave the packaging as GPL-3+, it won't do any harm and makes things simpler. > As for cbios: I was not aware that it was included in the source tree. Does the C-BIOS package contain multiple previous versions of C-BiOS, and put them where openMSX expects? openMSX has many older versions of C-BIOS included for loading older save states. It's possible this would be a workable solution, I'd just need to look at it a bit closer. We don't want to break people's old save states. If the C-BIOS package only ships the latest version of C-BIOS, then this solution will not work. If it ships all needed versions and has them in the right spots, then this would probably work.. > Thanks, > Bas > > On Mon, Nov 27, 2023 at 03:14:37PM -0600, Aaron Rainbolt wrote: > > On 11/27/23 15:02, Manuel Bilderbeek wrote: > > > On 27-11-2023 02:11, Aaron Rainbolt wrote: > > > > Alright, I have fully rebuilt the copyright file.
