Oh! I didn't see you already made an ITP for pipectl. That definitely simplifies things.
I just checked through the additional dependencies that wl-present would need, and I'm not sure if that amount of recommended packages is normal for a Debian package, or if wl-present is better off being a separate binary package in the wl-mirror source package: wl-present would depend on bash, slurp, dmenu, wmenu, rofi, wofi, or something similar, and on pipectl. That sounds too much to add to the wl-mirror binary package in an 0.16.1-2 release, so I'd much rather add a wl-present binary package to the wl-mirror source package, though I'm not 100% sure how to do that yet; I'll experiment with it and see what seems like a good solution.
