Hey,

KF5 and KF6 packages are coinstallable! Me having plasma6 and dolphin, konsole 
installed from experimental (KF6 based) but all other apps are KF5 based. For 
me the upgrade of digikam didn't removed any other app.
You need to dig a little bit further, why apt thinks for your installation to 
remove so many apps. Maybe you removed a meta-package some while ago so all 
the apt thinks that all those apps can be removed as they are not needed 
anymore.
