Hi,

Geany developer here.
I'm not involved in the time_t transition, just noticed the many package updates as a Debian Testing user :).

So I'm not totally sure but to me it seems like renaming geany to geany-t64 is the way.

As far as I know, the geany package is required only by the geany-plugins package and they are usually released together by upstream.
So I guess it might be no issue even if not renamed.

But again, I'm not sure about this at all.

For my understanding, the code itself compiles fine and works and we are talking more or less about a packing issue here? I'm using the GIT master version of Geany self compiled on a regularly updated Debian Testing on a daily basis and this works well for me.

Since this report is already a bit aging, Evgeni or Loong Jin could you have a look?

Regards,
Enrico

P.S.: Mechtilde made me aware of this issue so I cc'ed her.
