It'd be useful to know how long it's taking on your environment to compress with your not-so-fast VM.
I'd love to be able to answer such question, using a modified horizon package, but unfortunately horizon is unbuildable right now: dh build --buildsystem=python_distutils --with python3,sphinxdoc dh_update_autotools_config -O--buildsystem=python_distutils dh_autoreconf -O--buildsystem=python_distutils dh_auto_configure -O--buildsystem=python_distutils dh_auto_configure: error: unable to load build system class 'python_distutils': Can't locate Debian/Debhelper/Buildsystem/python_distutils.pm in @INC (you may need to install the Debian::Debhelper::Buildsystem::python_distutils module) (@INC entries checked: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.40.0 /usr/local/share/perl/5.40.0 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.40 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl-base /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.40 /usr/share/perl/5.40 /usr/local/lib/site_perl) at (eval 2) line 1.
