Assuming it is the same problem I see here, it is not a bug in JFFNMS but a bug/feature? of snmpd JFFNMS looks at the system object id to determine if the thing it is looking at is a Linux host, if the remote site lies, then JFFNMS takes it as true. Try looking at the sysObjectID string, here is mine looking at a host running snmpd: gonzo$ snmpget -v 1 -c public localhost system.sysObjectID.0 SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::dod.0.0.0.0.0.0.0 This is a non-valid objectID, can you confirm this is what you see as well? - Craig -- Craig Small GnuPG:1C1B D893 1418 2AF4 45EE 95CB C76C E5AC 12CA DFA5 Eye-Net Consulting http://www.enc.com.au/ MIEE Debian developer csmall at : enc.com.au ieee.org debian.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
