I'm sorry to bother you but I still got problem with banning with the last version indicated loaded from
itanix.rutgers.edu/rumba/dists/sid/perspect/binary-all/net/fail2ban_0.6.1-10_all.deb
the last night, I had as much as 1364 Authentication Failures from the same ip
and I still find "time data did not match format" errors in
/var/log/fail2ban.log
my locale setting is [EMAIL PROTECTED] for LANG and all LC_ except LC_ALL which
is empty
I've tried to hack /etc/init.d/fail2ban by adding
export LANG=C
and also with export [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and also with export LC_ALL=C
and finally export [EMAIL PROTECTED]
but I always get the same error messages
I hope you will soon find a solution ;)
