The Plexus project has since released a new Plexus Build API (1.x) under the org.codehaus.plexus groupId, in a different Java package. It is required by maven-filtering 3.5 and modello 2.x, both needed to update Maven in Debian. Version 1.x still depends on the Sonatype 0.0.7 API, so the two have to coexist. The 0.0.7 version is moved to a sisu-build-api source package producing libsisu-build-api-java, and plexus-build-api will be updated to 1.x. The existing reverse dependencies keep working through the dependency of libplexus-build-api-java on libsisu-build-api-java. The package will be maintained by the Debian Java Team.
