I've already put together a patch to fix the issue (the headers are not well 
defined i.e. they are different internally and externally). However, the issue 
is that I am concerned about contact with upstream and that given some of the 
history and state of the code, I would prefer it to undergo a slightly longer 
period of testing before moving it to a stable release. And as testing is 
running towards stability...
