Package: convertfs Version: 20050113-1 Severity: important Hello,
Trying to run convertfs on an EVMS volume here but all I get is the following output: shodan:~# convertfs /dev/evms/storage ext3 reiserfs [ ... Yep, it's dangerous allright ... ] Type 'I am using convertfs at my own risk.' and press enter to continue. I am using convertfs at my own risk. == Creating clone of `ext3' filesystem that's on `/dev/evms/storage'. == ===== Creating destination `reiserfs' filesystem. ===== mkreiserfs 3.6.19 (2003 www.namesys.com) [ ... reiserfs credits here ... ] Format 3.6 with standard journal Count of blocks on the device: 48824304 Number of blocks consumed by mkreiserfs formatting process: 9701 Blocksize: 4096 Hash function used to sort names: "r5" Journal Size 8193 blocks (first block 18) Journal Max transaction length 1024 inode generation number: 0 UUID: 3f500bfa-dc13-472a-9e86-aecc8e699b1b ATTENTION: YOU SHOULD REBOOT AFTER FDISK! Have fun. ReiserFS is successfully created on /dev/loop7. ============== Copying files ============== ls: /tmp/convertfs/fs2root: No such file or directory df: `/tmp/convertfs/fs2root': No such file or directory umount: /dev/loop7: not mounted shodan:~# I also tried a convert from ext3 to xfs, same result (except of course for the mkfs messages). I hope I'm not missing something here. (Didn't really get to look at it very closely, just played with it in my spare time).
