Hi Michael, hi Timo, I've yet compiled knetworkmanager with both patches and now it works like expected (excepts that it does not take ASCII passphrase). The only problem is that with the second patch knetworkmanager is no longer "session managed" and that you have to launch it via the autostart folder (which is not a problem for the experienced user but may disturb beginners).
