Ok, but this is a seperate issue though and should be discussed further
on #391364.

Right, that's why I installed an autostart file in the package I linked
to. So knetworkmanager is automatically started upon login.

Contrary to the SUSE packages, I previously did *not* install an
autostart file and relied on people starting knetworkmanager manually
and let the session management take care of the rest.
Though I'd say that the autostart approach is probably better, more
userfriendly. So I intend to go this way for the Debian packages too.

What strikes me odd is that it seems to work if knetworkmanager is
started from autostart, but not from session management. Smells a bit
fishy, maybe a timing problem.
