Please find attached a patch to fix the unaligned load/store problem. The code is actually correct, but the list of platforms that does not support unaligned load/store was not correct. ia64 was already present, and I added alpha, sparc and hppa.
I have tested this patch on hppa and sparc, and it works as expected. -- .''`.
