Package: nautilus Version: 2.16.3-5 Severity: normal Hi,
To reproduce the bug: 1. Open nautilus in browser mode. Make sure the location bar is in button status, rather than text-based one. Also unmaximize the window please. 2. Create a new folder, and naming it with a very long string (longer than the width of the current width of nautilus's window). 3. Double click the folder so that navigate into it. Since the name of the folder is longer than the width of window now, the button representing current folder will be too wide. The expected behavior is: nautilus should automatically replace longer parts with ellipsis and use a width-limited button to represent current fold so that a button array representing all opened folders can be displayed in location bar. The current behavior, however is: The location bar will become blank. Users have to widen the nautilus's window sufficiently or maximize it to get back the appropriate appearance Although this problem does not result in a crash of nautilus, it is really boring.
