Hm, does the 0->1 change really changes besides the capitalisation of
the "on" label ?  I'd be more tempted to tweak the function pointers
(but I'm not really familiar with this code).  If you could test a
patch on all those chipsets, it would be great; OTOH, I'd be somewhat
reluctant to change this area if I'm not sure all those changes do
work :)
