(Resend due to wrong email address for bug in previous email)
The machine refused to suspend due to unrecognised hardware without the -f switch. With the -f switch it suspends, but same problem on resume. This behaviour is the same with or without Xserver running. The machine just wakes up on resume but the screen is completely black, no back light, artefacts - nothing. However, life is there.
