actually not: it's only a requirement if the packagers choose (as is likely but not certain) to upgrade to the new version. At that point, the packagers would as a matter of course(*) change the documentation to reflect the new source. (*) one would assume, though I've noted incorrect licenses on this mailing list in the past which were ignored by the package maintainer. -- Thomas E.
