Package: usplash
Version: 0.3e
Severity: important

When using 'telinit 1' to switch to single user mode in Etch, usplash
is not terminated before the password prompt. This make it very
confusing. This was reported to the Debian Edu bugzilla in
<URL:http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=1164>. A fix is to
rename rc1.d/K01usplash to rc1.d/S80usplash, making sure usplash is
stopped before the S90single script ask for the root password.

Happy hacking,
