As François Deppierraz wrote, The latest release of this package has a wrong version number (0.9.2+cvs.1.0.dev.2004.07.28-4.1~0etch1) which is understood as inferior to the previous one (0.9.2+cvs.1.0.dev.2004.07.28-4.1) and thus is not installed by default under Debian etch.
