It would be great if others could confirm if this is specific to
GStreamer or Rhythmbox, preferably by testing with totem-gstreamer or
this pipeline:
gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri="file:///path/to/my/musicfile.ogg"
You'll need the gstreamer-tools package.
If it's a gstreamer problem, I'm guessing it's most likely bug 452282.
