Hi Uwe,

(I'm CCing this other bug report because it looks like the same problem.)

K3b works fine on my machine, I haven't been able to reproduce that problem
yet :(

Here are a few questions that could help me identify the cause of the problem:

  1- Which version of both k3b (dpkg -s k3b) and libk3b3 (dpkg -s libk3b3) do
     you have installed?
2- Which architecture are you using? i386, amd64?
3- What kernel version? (the output of the "uname -a" command)

And if someone could answer these two, it would help me out greatly:

1- Does the problem happen on kernel 2.6.22 or 2.6.23?
2- If you downgrade libk3b3 to version 1.0.4-5, does the problem go away?

Francois
