Package: git-buildpackage Version: 0.4.16 Severity: normal Im not sure if this is intentional, but git-import-dsc and git-import-orig use 'git add' without the '-f' option.
Some upstream tarballs have a .gitignore file which leads to files missing after the import. Adding '-f' to the call to 'git add' solves this.
