Yes, i agree with you. There are probably other bugreports on different packages related to this bug, but I don't know howto propose a patch for stable. Probably we should first contact the maintainer of libnss-ldap and talk to him. The bug should be reopend for the stable version or a new bugreport should be create and tagged as etch related. Yeah, I think the best would be if you report a new bug against libnss-ldap with reportbug from your stable system. Link the bugreport with the patch #375533 and the bugreports for mailscanner #418619 and #418615 in it, attach the patch itself and point out that you want this problem resolved for the stable release.
