Hi, postconf(5) documents the 'sleep' smtpd restriction: === sleep seconds Pause for the specified number of seconds and proceed with the next restriction in the list, if any. This may stop zombie mail when used as: /etc/postfix/main.cf: smtpd_client_restrictions = sleep 1, reject_unauth_pipelining smtpd_delay_reject = no This feature is available in Postfix 2.3. === Yes, it *does* say that this feature is only available in postfix 2.3, but I still would prefer it if only the really existing options were listed in the documentation. Especially since sometimes, features are backported and available in the Debian package - in this case that's what I thought. cheers - -- vbi - -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (60, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages postfix depends on: ii adduser 3.63 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii dpkg 1.10.27 Package maintenance system for Deb ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb4.2 4.2.52-18 Berkeley v4.2 Database Libraries [ ii libsasl2 2.1.19-1.5 Authentication abstraction library ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3 SSL shared libraries ii netbase 4.21 Basic TCP/IP networking system - -- debconf information excluded -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: get my key from http://fortytwo.ch/gpg/92082481 iKcEARECAGcFAkKK7lRgGmh0dHA6Ly9mb3J0eXR3by5jaC9sZWdhbC9ncGcvZW1h aWwuMjAwMjA4MjI/dmVyc2lvbj0xLjUmbWQ1c3VtPTVkZmY4NjhkMTE4NDMyNzYw NzFiMjVlYjcwMDZkYTNlAAoJECqqZti935l6UnMAmwRDb7rKYU1SAsn6q39KaW8G Ts7YAJ9Za5Clo/AGDWBNY/9h40kvvfrCBA== =OKOE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
