Well, sorry for that. I mistakenly though that Jens Seidel did some
work on the german translation of aptitude's man page, which is
apparently wrong.

So you're right reopening the bug report.

As far as I see, aptitude *does* use po4a for the documentation
i18n. Only Japanese and French use it, though.

I mentioned Jens above. We are indeed in the process of heading him
off more responsibility in maintaining aptitude's l10n so he might
very well have a look at this, I suppose. Jens, are you listening?
