Well, sorry for that. I mistakenly though that Jens Seidel did some work on the german translation of aptitude's man page, which is apparently wrong. As far as I see, aptitude *does* use po4a for the documentation i18n. Only Japanese and French use it, though. I mentioned Jens above.
