The word "Transparency" in gimp has two different meanings. 1. "Transparency" as in "degree of transparency", indicating how transparent a layer is. In Chinese this is translated "透明度" and is the current translation. 2. "Transparency" in the "Advanced options" in File|New, indicating that the new layer should be transparent. In Chinese this should be translated "透明". The two meanings are distinct, and the translations are NOT interchangeable. In either case, it would be wrong to use the other translation; as a result, the "Advanced options" in gimp's File|New currently has a wrong Chinese translation that cannot be fixed.
