At
       The bracketing construct "( ... )" creates capture buffers...
       Referring back to another part of the match is called a backreference.

Perhaps add
       The zero-width assertions ((?=) etc.) do not create capture buffers.

Also at the first occurrence of "Works only for fixed-width
look-behind", say add an example into the sentence, like:

        Works only for fixed-width look-behind, not e.g., (?<=a?).

So the user is clear about what is meant.
