Yes, I translated "Raum" to "root" and "channel" to "Kanal". If you want
to have a more consistent word for the IRC channels in Pidgin, please
write a bug report for the Pidgin project, so that the problem could be
fixed in English first: http://developer.pidgin.im/

Yes, thanks. I fixed this upstream in Pidgin monotone for Pidgin 2.4.2.

I think, the bug report #475536 should be closed now. See my comment for
the English original strings above.
