I'm not sure that it doesn't breaks something, so I'm not applying it at
least to v1.0/v1.1. Also documentation everywhere (AFAIK) says that
quota and imap_quota plugins be loaded together, so I don't think it's
that big of a deal.

There are also other dependencies, like trash plugin depending on quota
plugin and with v1.1 fts_* depending on fts.
